Advisory Board

Cydney Kane




Cydney Kane holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University and a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. Called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2021, she works as a public sector lawyer and as part-time professor at the Schulich School of Law.

 

Outside of work, Cydney is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia (EFMNS), guiding the organization’s high-level governance and direction. She represents EFMNS as the owner of PATH Legal and sits on PATH’s Advisory Board to assist with strategy on complex files. Cydney also sits on the Board of Directors of the Mount Allison Alumni Association and volunteers with other social justice and health-related organizations.
